History
The company was founded in 1990 by Chung Fong, Chairman of Ying Tang Hong Investment. The company began as a strategic business advisor to Exxon seeking significant market expansion of Esso lubrication petroleum products in China. YTH not only acted as a trusted advisor, but also an independent sales agent. YTH quickly penetrated steel, non-ferrous metals, and chemical industry, increasing sales of Esso products multiple-folds annually in the first few years. YTH also represented other multinationals, notably ABB Group, in selling their power generation plants.
In late 90’s, Ying Tang Hong started advising and investing in companies in information technology and healthcare. We advised several large China-based IT companies expand their IT consulting services overseas. We co-founded Yuanhua Healthcare, a leading healthcare management company in China and invested in another startup healthcare company.
More recently, we advised companies on merger & acquisitions and corporate financing with deal sizes in hundred-million US dollars.
